We are delighted to announce that Philippe was recently awarded the prize for History Teacher of the Year 2022 in Sweden. The prize has been dormant for a couple of years due to the pandemic, but it came back with a vengeance this year when, at a magnificent ceremony at Uppsala University on the 30th of September, Philippe was only too pleased to accept the prestigious award. Extracts from the jury’s motivation reads;

The methods he uses are securely anchored in scientific methods and he integrates school subjects, creating innovative thinking and coadjuvancy [...] in Philippe the pupils meet a teacher and person who takes their thoughts and conclusions seriously and helps them to explore and pursue their own hypotheses and challenge their ideas about the world around them, both current and historical”
